PhD APPLICATION PROCEDURE (read carefully)
All applicants MUST decide whether to compete for the Posti Ordinari or for the Posti in soprannumero. All applicants (no distinction is made between EU and non-EU citizens) may apply for the Posti ordinari.
Among those applying for the Posti ordinari, only the first 4 successful applicants (i.e. who scored four highest grades at the entrance exam) will be accepted. The applicants with the first and second highest grade will be awarded the full PhD scholarship for three years.
Please refer to the announcement of competition for the terms of conditions linked to the Posti in soprannumero.
All successful applicants who are not receiving the full PhD scholarship AND are coming from a soft-currency country are awarded with a so-called food-stamp which will cover the costs of board and lodging for the months when lectures will take place.

MASTER APPLICATION PROCEDURE
All students MUST send to the Academic office: IUIES Via Mazzini, 13 I-34170 Gorizia the required documentation for the entry exam using FORM B (ITA) (ENG) by the 29th of November 2007.

A. ITALIAN, EU-STUDENTS AND NON-EU STUDENTS LIVING IN ITALY WITH AN ITALIAN DEGREE have to USE THE ON-LINE PROCEDURE:
- go to the website of the university of Trieste, log-in and follow the procedure.
- remember to print the report and keep it in a safe place since it is the receipt of your enrolment.
- print the payment form and remember to pay the fee by the 12th of November 2007

B. ITALIAN, EU-STUDENTS and NON-EU STUDENTS LIVING IN ITALY WITH a FOREIGN DEGREE MUST USE THE ON-LINE PROCEDURE:
- go to the website of the university of Trieste, log-in and follow the procedure.
- send the translation, legalisation and declaration of value of your degree to Segreteria Maste: Piazzale Europa, 1 34127 Trieste
- remember to print the report and keep it in a safe place since it is the receipt of your enrolment.
- print the payment form and remember to pay the fee by the 12th of November 2007

C. NON-EU STUDENTS WITH FOREIGN DEGREE cannot use the on-line procedure
