IUIES courses take place at the University of Trieste bulding in Gorizia (via Alviano, 18) at five minutes walking distance from the IUIES office.
Students have access to the IUIES library, to the ISIG library and to a wide range of on-line journals and publications.
Stundents have full access to the University of Trieste computer-labs and e-learning facilities.
Libraries
IUIES students can access all the libraries of the University of Trieste, the ISIG and the IUIES library.
In order to access university libraries, students are required to first address to the library of the university in Gorizia with a valid ID, in order to receive the library card.
With this card you could borrow books, accordingly with the regulation of each library, both in Gorizia and in Trieste and also from all the libraries of the University network.
To access ISIG library, students could address directly to the reference librarian during the opening hours.
To access IUIES library, students should address to the IUIES office during the working hours and respectthe following regulations:
Books can be taken out by IUIES students only.
IUIES students can take out 3 books maximum each time.
Books can be handed out by IUIES staff only.
Books can be handed in to IUIES staff only.
Students must fill in a book-receipt which should be kept and handed in when returning the book/s.
Books must be handed in by 3.00 pm, of the following day to IUIES staff.
Books cannot be taken out during weekends
Access to the course collection will not be permitted to students with a record of three late returns.
Computer lab
IUIES students can access the computer lab of the University of Trieste.
To access the computer lab of the university of Trieste in Gorizia, you should address to Mr. Giorgio
Manauzzi and ask him for a computer account.
To access the computer lab of the university of Trieste in Trieste, you should ask for a computer account at the computer lab in the H3 building.
GoUnicardGo
The university of Trieste and Udine in Gorizia, together with the Consorzio per lo sviluppo del polo goriziano, promote the GoUnicardGo, a student discount card.
This card is free of charge and gives you special discounts in several shops and activities.
Together with the card you’ll receive also a guide with the list of the shop adhering to the initiative.
One you’ll get the card, you would be able to access the special discount accordingly with the conditionsdescribed in the guide.
IUIES students who are interested in this opportunity can receive the card directly from IUIES office since we already got them for you.
